MOVE Day of Remembrance, 40 Years

5.13.25 - MOVE organization members and their supporters gathered at the intersection of Osage Avenue and Cobbs Creek Parkway to acknowledge the 40 year anniversary of the MOVE bombing. This year's acknowledgement comes with the decision by the City Council of Philadelphia to recognize May 13th as MOVE Day. Hear from speakers and performers at the event who sought to honor the memories of the 11 men, women and children killed at the hands of then Mayor Wilson Goode, and the brutal Philadelphia Police Department.
