March For Mumia Rally - Ant Smith Speech 11.28.25

Education organizer Ant Smith speaks and begins chants at the rally to 'Unite to Free Mumia.' Supporters of the movement to free political prisoner, journalist, and former MOVE and Black Panther party member Mumia Abu-Jamal gathered at Uncle Bobbie's Coffee and Books in Germantown to kick off a 103-mile journey to State Correctional Institution Mahanoy in Frackville, PA. Abu-Jamal, now in declining health, has been held there since 2012 after his then death row conviction was overturned and replaced with life imprisonment, or death by incarceration. Rally-goers will continue marching each day until Dec. 9 leading to a rally outside of SCI Mahanoy facility.
