On Saturday, July 11th we spoke with Sonny a West Philly resident. He shared the dangerous aftermath of the recent storm and noted that appointed officials have failed to maintain the trees in the area. He asserts that he and other residents have been reaching out for years but have not seen any action or received a plan to ensure safety measures around these old trees and he had experienced two of his cars being damaged prior to this due to lack of proper tree maintenance.
